About
Aarohan is a pan India school level examination for classes 9th to 10th and 11th to 12th ( science and mathematics ) hosted by APOGEE, the annual, international technical festival of BITS Pilani.
Crafted and conducted by the students of BITS Pilani under the guidance of a dedicated panel of professors, the paper will have one unified theme based on the various extraordinary scientific phenomenons at the boundaries of human scientific achievement, which can be understood and solved using a reasonable amount of knowledge in basic sciences and logical reasoning.
The aim is to inculcate the much needed scientific temperament

Round 1

The paper will be:-
- 1. One word answer based
- 2. Subjective based
- 3. Integer based
- 4. Objective based

But what will the paper ask?
Simple; answers to the questions in it ( bad joke! ). But more than that, the paper will ask you to go on a thrilling adventure inside your brain and look out for all the different possibilities of even simple things that you observe in daily life.

Well, that sounded heavy, what exactly do I have to study to prepare for the exam?
The syllabus comprises of the syllabus of the students’ respective class. RELAX! You don’t have to mug up facts or anything. You only need to prepare yourself to learn something new from the paper. The paper will have one unifying theme based on recent scientific breakthroughs and phenomena. The answers will be in the questions itself (your teacher says that too), but just like your teacher, we mean it. You just have to think differently, you don’t require any extra knowledge to get to the answers, and you can find them with what you know already.

Uh-huh! It’s a secret, shall be disclosed to you only on the day of exam.

Congratulations!! You have cleared the written exam and now you are welcome to APOGEE-
2019, BITS Pilani. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you how to reach BITS Pilani campus. Once you
reach here along with other national winners, you will explore a plethora of technical events,
workshops, exhibitions happening in the campus and we’ll have Round-2 and some other events
exclusively for you. Team Aarohan and you have the same mission here, which is to make your
experience here during Apogee the best and unforgivable. And yeah, we have some amazing
goodies and certificate of merit for the winners and certificate of participation for all the
students. The other details would be intimated later.
So get ready and don’t think outside the box, just get rid of it.

Register as an Aarohan ambassador
Anyone who is a student from a college/school can be Aarohan Ambassador. As an ambassador of Aarohan, BITS Pilani, your job would be to pitch your school during the summers or anytime convenient to you to be onboard with conduction of Aarohan or you can give us the details. We shall guide you through the process, from initial correspondence to the conduction of the examination. Either way, your contribution would make a lot of difference.
You get to test and hone your persuasion, pitching and management skills among various others. Needless to say, you get amazing benefits and certificate as a part of the valuable experience.
